Maltese weather is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. The Summer months are hot, a high factor sun protection and a sun hat are stongly recommended, whilst doing any outdoor activities. Occasional, strong winds can make Malta feel cold during the spring months.
In January 2007, International Living chose Malta as the country with the best climate in the world.
